Unlike other Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) models, T.E.A.M. CBT goes beyond simple solution-oriented brief therapy. T.E.A.M. CBT, developed by Dr. David Burns at Stanford University, provides space for you to tell your story, explore your issues, and then roll up your sleeves and get to work. T.E.A.M. CBT frequently produces significant and dramatic changes in a much shorter time frame than traditional talk therapy.
This tool is often used in our sessions. Hypnosis in and of itself is not therapy; however, it can enhance the effectiveness of therapy. We find hypnosis particularly useful for clients who to get of unwanted behaviors or habits, or who need pain management assistance. Elizabeth offers special sessions for expectant mothers to help them have easier and more comfortable deliveries.
